Due to the continued development and growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team in South Brisbane. This role is being offered on a part-time basis, 4-5 days per week, with exact hours to be discussed at interview stage and negotiable for the successful candidate. 

Reporting to the Group Business Manager and working across all of Pensar's divisions, this is a varied, hands-on generalist marketing position coordinating and implementing marketing activities in-line with the Pensar brand strategy and strategic marketing plans. 

Your day-to-day activities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Managing a digital content calendar and producing online marketing content, incorporating SEO, Google Adwords and Google Analytics and website updates;
  • Developing and implementing all internal and external promotional campaigns and maintaining stock control of promotional merchandise;
  • Developing a calendar of events and attending/coordinating events as required, including industry trade shows and award submissions;
  • Working with the Bid Team to write and produce capability documentation, non-price criteria and data sheets to support the company's tender responses;
  • Working with project teams to coordinate official openings and SOD turning events and other PR requirements;
  • Liaising with external suppliers including consultants and designers as required to deliver marketing campaigns and collateral; and
  • Measuring results of campaigns and programs and using this information to help convert marketing activities into tangible leads.

What you need to succeed

This is an exciting opportunity for a personable and driven marketer who understands the importance of well-developed and executed marketing strategy to help a business grow and flourish. 

To be considered for this position you will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or similar and demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. Any experience in creating content for tender submissions, media releases or social media channels will be highly regarded. 

Importantly, you will be a clear communicator who is comfortable dealing with people from all different backgrounds, and confident articulating the 'why' of what you are trying to achieve through your marketing plans and programs. This role would be well-suited to a proven marketer who is looking for a return-to-work opportunity and/or someone who wants to work part-time hours to work around existing commitments.

In return for your hard work, you'll enjoy a competitive salary package circa $65,000-$75,000 (pro-rata) negotiable based on your skills and experience.
